What are your hours?
Our normal business hours are:
- Thursday & Friday: 3 pm to 9 pm
- Saturday: 10 am to 10 pm
- Sunday: 12 pm to 10 pm
We are closed on Monday through Wednesday.
How much does it cost?
It costs $20 per hour for each VR device. You can also book for 30 minutes for $15.
How many people can share the use of a single VR station?
We allow up to two people to take turns (share time) on a single station.
How long is orientation?
For first time users, orientation will be around 5 minutes, which means you get about 55 minutes of VR time for your first session. There is no orientation time for returning users, unless requested. However, there will still be a 5 minute setup time factored into your rental.
Who can use the VR devices?
We do not allow people who have the following conditions to use VR:
- Axis I psychiatric disorders (i.e. anxiety disorders, PTSD)
- Serious medical conditions (i.e. heart issues, seizures)
- Children under the age of 7
How many people can be in VR together? (multiplayer)
At the moment, six players can play together on six different VR devices for certain titles. Please click on the multiplayer tab in our VR Apps page to see what is currently available. For private events like birthday parties, we can offer up to eight VR devices. We are planning to expand so up to 12 people can play together.
Can I wear my glasses inside the headset?
Yes, if the length of the frame is less than 5.5 inches. If it is longer than that, you will need to wear contacts or not wear your glasses during the VR session.
Will I get motion sickness?
It depends on the VR application you are using. Apps like Google Earth have high degree of VR movement, hence motion sickness is likely. Experiences like theBlu, has very little VR movement, hence motion sickness is not likely. Please let the imm3rse.in staff know that you are prone to motion sickness and Seabands will be provided that can help reduce or even eliminate it from occurring.
